Make Albuquerque Great Again: Roibal for NM GOP Chairman
For far too long, out of touch politicians have forgotten about “We the People”. We deserve Republican Leadership who understand how to protect our Conservative Values and New Mexico Culture from the Far-Left’s assaults.
Make Albuquerque Great Again
The Republican Party in New Mexico requires a fresh and newer approach to politics, rather than the out dated and ineffective “compassionate conservatism” of Steve Pearce and party insiders, it’s time that we conservatives proudly proclaim our values and protect them before it’s too late. It’s time for a new direction in the Republican Party which will preserve our New Mexican culture from out of state interest groups, but also deliver victories for Republicans across New Mexico. It’s time to clean house of the weak Republicans in NM Politics and embrace Donald Trump and “Trumpism”.
#Roibal4NMGOPChairman: Make Albuquerque Great Again
Vote Joaquin Roibal for NM Gop Chairman and let’s clean house of the out-of-date, career politician mindset in the New Mexico GOP. We will embrace “Trumpism” rather than out dated George Bush-style Republicanism. We will need a true fighter who can deliver real results as a “minority party” in New Mexico, and stand up to government overreach. Vote Roibal for NM GOP Chairman and, together, we can Make Albuquerque Great Again.
Building on 2020 Republican Victories
Congratulations to Yvette Herrell, Stefani Lord, Joshua Sanchez, and Crystal Diamond on victories in the November 2020 General Elections. Herrell is now the figurehead of the Republican Party in New Mexico. Yvette won by being true to Traditional, New Mexican Values and supporting US President Donald Trump. What the victory by these candidates show is that the success to Republican Victory in New Mexico is rural voters and Republicans staying true to conservative values, and not ‘flip flopping’ into a liberal politician for the General Election.
2020 Election: A Glimmer of Hope and Open Senate Seat, Donald Trump Re-Election Campaign
2020, as an election year, is especially important due to the fact that Donald Trump is seeking Re-Election in a state which voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016. The November 2020 General Election was one of the most interesting and elections which had the potential to reform New Mexico politics, and kick out the career politicians such as Deb Haaland who spent the months leading up to the COVID-19 pandemic on the campaign trail with Elizabeth Warren. The Congressional District 2 is officially the most expensive congressional race in New Mexico History with 20 million being spent on ads between Yvette Herrell and Xochitl Torres Small. New Mexico gained national attention due to current NM CD-3 Representative Ben Ray Lujan who is ‘Assistant Speaker of the House’ to Nancy Pelosi in a highly contested race with political newcomer Mark Ronchetti who managed to outraise Ben Ray Lujan in the final quarter of the US Senate Race. Additionally, Democrat Teresa Leger Fernandez has already been anointed as the next member of “The Squad” in the US House of Representatives having been endorsed by Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Kamala Harris, and even Joe Biden.
One day out from the election day, and many of the Federal Races all but decided by double-digit polling results, and an immense turnout by Democrats in Early Voting. The 2020 strategy of ‘saving up’ Republican votes for Election Day was entirely flawed and susceptible to suppression/low voter turn out, and this was easily seen months ago. Even before election day, over 700,000 votes have been cast in New Mexico’s record-breaking 2020 General Election, a day of reckoning is coming for Steve Pearce and his outdated “compassionate conservative” approach.
Failing Tactics of Steve Pearce, “Compassionate Conservative” Republicans, George Bush
His two failures in leadership are his compassionate conservativism which is reminiscent of George Bush Republicans, which causes his second problem of failing to embrace Donald Trump, “Trumpism”, and the new way of doing politics in 2020 which led to almost a complete shut out by Republicans in November 2020 at the Federal Level for the second election cycle in a row. Additionally Steve Pearce failed to anticipate and prepare for the changes of Mail-In / Absentee voting caused by COVID19 pandemic. Fortunately Yvette Herrell won in NM CD2 which saved the Republican Party in New Mexico.
Systemic Failure in NM Republican Leadership. 2018 Election: Total Losses for Republicans in New Mexico
In the 2018 elections, the Republican Party of New Mexico suffered a complete collapse in which the Democrat Party took the New Mexico Governorship, majorities in both NM House and Senate, NM Attorney General, both US Senators and all Three Representatives to the US House. Among this historic loss was New Mexico CD2 which is a long-term Republican strong hold which trump won by 10% in 2016, which was held by Steve Pearce until he ran against Michelle Lujan Grisham for the governorship.
Steve Pearce, who lost in the race for governorship, became the NM GOP Chairman, and has continued his outdated brand of “George W. Bush” / compassionate conservative Republicanism, which the left has discovered how to neutralize this type of politics through young, energetic and left-wing women of color such as AOC.
Due to a complete and utter collapse of the Republican Party in NM 2018 General Elections, New Mexico has complete Democrat control of all three branches of NM State Government which has allowed a lightning fast implementation of left wing ideology, such as “Green New Deal” type legislation of the Energy Transition Act.
Yvette Herrell and the Survival of The Republican Party in New Mexico
A fervent few in Republican Circles insist on “Straight Republican Ticket” and RED: “Remove Every Democrat” — whether or not the Republican candidate has shown any loyalty to Republican voters after the Primary or our great President. In New Mexico, there is a hesitation around Trump, and not just due to the extreme-left wing such as Democrats in Santa Fe and Taos. Steve Pearce failed to embrace Trumpism, which caused a split in the Republican Party and State NM GOP, even so far as that they essentially ran as an entirely ‘third party’ of ‘Respect New Mexico’.
Yvette Herrell Will Win Because She stayed Loyal to President Trump and Republican / Conservative Voters after the Primary
Republican Voters are looking for a true conservative who doesn’t flip into a liberal politician after the Primaries in order to gain votes, such as Alexis Martinez Johnson did when she stated she “Admired AOC”. Yvette Herrell, in comparison, stayed true to conservative values and the Republican Party and President Trump, which is the path to success in 2020. Mark Ronchetti waivered a bit on his support with President Trump but still remained with the President (particularly closer to election day), and Michelle Garcia Holmes also stayed true to Republican Voters after the Primaries, but Alexis Martinez Johnson went full left-wing democrat politician, which totally backfired and led to her loss of 58–42% to Teresa Leger Fernandez which was announced just shortly after 9 PM.
Yvette Herrell has won, and will be 2 Democrats and 1 Republican, which is important considering the 2020 Census will result in redistricting, and also helps keep a bit of balance between the parties which is good for America.
Make NM GOP Great Again: A New Direction for Republican Party of NM
Steve Pearce had his ‘bite at the apple’ both with his previous political career where he served as NM CD-2 Representative, and also served as NM GOP Chairman from 2018–2020 in which he was able to impart his vision of ‘compassionate conservatism’ during the election of 2020 which called for a more aggressive embrace of ‘Trumpism’. Moving forward, the Republican Party must build upon the Victories in 2020 including Yvette Herrell, Crystal Diamond, and Stefani Lord. It’s time to Make the NM GOP Great Again.
