Lujan Lockdown 2.0: NM Gov Michelle Lujan Grisham orders Two-Week “Reset”

New Mexico is a preview of what is coming to the United States if MLG becomes US Health and Human Services Secretary under Joe Biden.

Before the COVID-19 “pandemic” started in March 2020, New Mexico was already among one of the worst states in the United States economically, with nearly 1 in 5 New Mexicans living below the poverty level in 2017. The original “Lujan Lockdown” was a coercive measure which created a state-mandated division between “essential” and “non-essential” businesses, and shut down restaurants, gyms, places of worship, and closed down preventative medicine from being performed by Hospitals and Doctors in NM.

In an attempt to further her own political ambitions as US Health and Human Services Secretary, Michelle Lujan Grisham has instituted a second, more restrictive “Lujan Lockdown” on the great people of New Mexico who have been battered and bruised by 8 months of economic, social and spiritual restrictions.

Fear and Loathing in New Mexico during the Lujan Lockdown

It is difficult to explain the experience of living in the socialist nightmare of New Mexico during the year of 2020. Michelle Lujan Grisham is an incredibly astute politician who has a knack for consolidating power and silencing opposition. In 2018, a “Blue Wave” gave Democrats complete control of the NM Governorship, NM State House and Senate, NM Attorney General, NM State Auditor, and all five US House and Senate seats. This complete domination of all political power by one party, the Democrats, who are also unwilling to promote any discussion or dissent among their party, especially against MLG, resulted in a “rocket docket” of far-left legislation and created a ‘dictatorial’ environment in which MLG dictates the rules for New Mexico to live by, without any discussion or opposition.

New Mexico’s main economic engine which contributed 41% of NM State Tax Revenue in 2019, the Oil & Gas Industry, has been demonized by Michelle Lujan Grisham and ‘far-left’ politicians, through misguided legislation such as the Energy Transition Act [ETA] and vilifying rhetoric. The ETA is a Mini-New Green Deal which intentionally targeted the San Juan Generating Station, a coal-fired power plant near Farmington, New Mexico which provided a tremendous economic benefit and high paying jobs to New Mexico including through coal-mines in New Mexico.

MLG’s tactics have been particularly abusive, draconian, and intentionally ripped at the social fabric of New Mexico, such as when she specifically removed “houses of worship” as an exception to the Public Health Order on the day before Easter 2020, and using the ‘Amber Alert’ text messaging system to warn all New Mexicans to stay home during Easter and avoid “mass gatherings” (church).

During 2020, Governor Grisham has instituted a top-down control, command economy, unlike anything the United States has ever seen, including creating a division between “essential” and “non-essential” businesses, and coercing silence among any opposition through imposing $5,000 per day fines for businesses which “violate” the Public Health Order, such as when Michelle Lujan Grisham specifically targeted a small, family owned Pawn Shop in Grants, New Mexico with a $60,000 fine. The Governor was challenged on the constitutionality of these excessive fines, due to the fact that the public health order states she can only impose $100 per day fines on non-compliant businesses, and in May of 2020, the New Mexico Supreme Court unanimously upheld the Governor’s authority to impose these incredibly punitive measures.

While Grisham deemed churches, gyms, and hair salons “non essential”, abortion clinics in New Mexico were deemed “essential health care”, and despite a 14-day quarantine order for out-of-state visitors — which has destroyed the tourism industry in New Mexico, many out of state license plates were witnessed at these clinics.

Lujan Lockdown 2.0 instituted on Friday, November 13, 2020

New Mexico was recently named the most restrictive state in the United States by the New York Times, and on Friday, November 13, 2020 New Mexico Governor — and Joe Biden Cabinet Hopeful — Michelle Lujan Grisham [MLG] announced a fresh set of increased restrictions in a “two week reset” to slow the spread of COVID-19 in New Mexico:

Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and state health officials on Friday announced the state of New Mexico will temporarily re-enact a statewide order closing in-person services for all non-essential activities in order to blunt the unprecedented spike of COVID-19 illnesses and to attempt to relieve dramatically escalating strain on hospitals and health care providers across the state.

All non-profits and non-essential businesses are to be closed. “Essential Businesses” are ordered to “minimize operations and in-person staffing to the greatest extent possible”. Among the new restrictions are that New Mexicans are ordered to “shelter-in-place” and “stay home except for only the most essential trips.”

Almost immediately upon her announcement, New Mexicans flocked to stores across New Mexico in anticipation for the two-week “Lujan Lockdown”. Although grocery stores will remain open, they will be limited to 75 people in the store at one time, which means that starting on Monday it will take hours to shop, mostly time spent waiting in-line outside.

Many astute observers noted that many of MLG’s original restrictions first put in place in March 2020 are still in force, and given the challenges of small businesses and restaurants in New Mexico, many are expected not to survive much longer. For Example, the New Mexico Restaurant Association, who have been among the most vocal against the MLG shutdown orders, stated:

In a recent survey done by the New Mexico Restaurant Association, one-third of restaurants only have three months until they will have to close permanently, and another 30 percent would have to close permanently in six months.

Is Michelle Lujan Grisham Ordering Business Closures As An “Interview” for a Biden Cabinet Position?

Many of us in New Mexico believe that, starting in March, MLG’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic has been politically motivated to promote herself as the most “highly qualified” to respond to COVID-19 in an effort to land a position within the Biden Administration, or even as Joe Biden’s Vice President/Running Mate. Evidence for this belief is the fact that MLG has been flying in COVID-19 patients to New Mexico from other states, the fact that MLG serves as ‘co-chair’ of the Biden transition team, and that MLG’s Chief of Staff John Bingaman took a “leave of absence” has been working in Washington D.C.

Protecting NM’s Unique Cultural Heritage From Government Over Reach

8 months into the Lujan Lockdown in response to the COVID19 pandemic, the people of NM have become “covid fatigued”, but it’s not from social distancing or wearing a mask, it’s from MLG’s abuse, gas-lighting, and government over reach as she continues to ruthlessly climb the NM and US Political ladder. MLG is intentionally destroying the rich cultural heritage of New Mexico in order to appease the Democrat Overlords in order to boost her own political career. MLG doesn’t enforce her mask mandates or “covid shame” when Democrats host destructive “mass gatherings”, such as when a large group of out of state anarchists descended on the Santa Fe Plaza and tore down a 160 year old Civil-War Monument on Columbus Day, when thousands gather in the streets of Albuquerque for BLM Protests, or when street parties occurred after Biden was “announced” as the winner of 2020 Presidential Election.

Michelle Lujan Grisham only “covid shames” when it comes to Americans celebrating our first amendment rights of freedom of religion, or when a small family business attempts to comply with COVID-19 safe practices in order to provide food for their family. If MLG becomes the US Health and Human Services Secretary, we can expect this type of behavior and government overreach nationwide.
