Conservatives in New Mexico are ready for Political Change. Will the Republican Party be able to adapt to our conservative values, or will we continue to embrace the losing political strategies of the past?

On December 7, 2020, the Republican Party of New Mexico State Central Committee Election was held where a number of positions were to be voted upon by the “inner circle” of the Republican Establishment. Those who voted are members of the “State Central Committee (SCC)”, comprising of County Chairs and officers from across New Mexico.

The SCC meeting, which has been described as a “fiasco”, was most importantly a referendum on current Chairman Steve Pearce in a state clamoring for change from “Politics as usual”.

For too long, out of touch elected leadership in New Mexico have focused on their political careers rather than serving the great people of New Mexico. Our elected leadership — both Republican and Democrats — have cowered to Michelle Lujan Grisham and abdicated their responsibility to a free and prosperous United States, and simply rolled over and given MLG complete power and control in New Mexico.

It’s time to elect “one of us”, a Native Born New Mexican who will fight for our most cherished Values in New Mexico.

Joaquin Roibal for NM CD-1 Chair of Republican Party of New Mexico

After weeks of deliberation, I have decided that I will run for Republican Party of New Mexico CD-1 Chair. I am running for this position because I, and many New Mexicans, are sick and tired of the Government over reach by out of touch governor Michelle Lujan Grisham and her heavy handed approach to COVID-19 pandemic which has resulted in New Mexicans standing in line for hours to buy basic necessities such as food and medicine. …

New Mexico is a preview of what is coming to the United States if MLG becomes US Health and Human Services Secretary under Joe Biden.

Before the COVID-19 “pandemic” started in March 2020, New Mexico was already among one of the worst states in the United States economically, with nearly 1 in 5 New Mexicans living below the poverty level in 2017. The original “Lujan Lockdown” was a coercive measure which created a state-mandated division between “essential” and “non-essential” businesses, and shut down restaurants, gyms, places of worship, and closed down preventative medicine from being performed by Hospitals and Doctors in NM.

In an attempt to further her own political ambitions as US Health and Human Services Secretary, Michelle Lujan Grisham has instituted a second, more restrictive “Lujan Lockdown” on the great people of New Mexico who have been battered and bruised by 8 months of economic, social and spiritual restrictions. …

The Democrats in New Mexico have started “counting their chickens” and plotting the next upgrade to their political career based upon a presumed Joe Biden Presidential Election Victory.

The National and Local News Media plays an important part of the Democrat Machine by controlling the public narrative. Politico and the Albuquerque Journal have begun speculating as well on the potential for NM Democrats to gain positions in the highest level of Joe Biden’s potential Presidential Administration. Well known New Mexico Politico Joe Monahan explains the political ambitions of Prominent Democrats for Joe Biden’s Presidential Cabinet.

Mr. Monahan, and the other members of the “Fourth Estate”, brought up three topics which Democrats now believe are political reality due to Biden’s premature declaration of Victory by the Media: 1. Michelle Lujan Grisham, after months of speculation, is poised to become the US Secretary of Health & Human Services in Biden’s Cabinet. 2. Retiring US Senator from New Mexico Tom Udall is expected to become the US Department of Interior Secretary. 3. …

New Mexico College Republicans join the left-wing Media in prematurely declaring Joe Biden the winner of the 2020 General Election

In an effort to seem “hip”, “cool”, and/or “woke”, a few prominent Republicans such as George Bush, Mitt Romney, Cindy McCain and the New Mexico College Republicans have taken it upon themselves and joining in with the Media / Mob in prematurely declaring Joe Biden as the winner of the 2020 Presidential Election.

We are seeing typical left-wing tactics such as a presenting their side of the issue with an air of superiority, and virtue signaling to coerce conservatives into compliance. These actions are similar to the Black Lives Matter marches were attendees coerce and intimidate bystanders into compliance.

New Mexico College “Republicans” Acknowledge Defeat

Bush, Romney and McCain have always been critical of Donald Trump and his “America First” Agenda, the NM College Republicans announcement was a surprise due to the fact that their Social Media pages had been dormant throughout the 2020 Election Season, provided no help to the Republican Candidates running in 2020, and then decide to ‘pop up’ with an announcement that they have accepted Joe Biden as the President Elect, stating “we can not in good faith sew more division into the fabric of our Nation”. …

Donald Trump is still the United States President. Legal challenges and processes — such as the Electoral College — must continue to be followed as part of a peaceful transition of power.

Despite a lack of certifications, final results of vote counts in a number of states, and no vote in the electoral College yet, the Mainstream Media has prematurely declared Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as the winner of the November 2020 Presidential Election. The emotional impact for conservatives is a potent mix of frustration, a huge ‘let down’, and disillusionment. …

I am passionate about New Mexico Politics because I am New Mexico.

Each of us have our own internal story, where we are the Hero. and sometimes we are the villain, and any number of different characters and roles through out our own life. I am nobody special; a 33 year old man who lives in Albuquerque, New Mexico and who is passionate about philosophy, history, and politics of New Mexico. People, Society, thinks of New Mexico as a backwood, dry, dusty patch of land between Arizona and Texas. …

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have been declared as the Winners of the 2020 Presidential Election. What does that mean for the future of the United States?

Cultivating a Daily Writing Habit

As I eat my microwaved breakfast Sandwich, drink a cup of coffee, read the news, and begin to collect my thoughts on today’s writing task, I think about the daily return to consistency, and how consistency in my life has been the key to success on any project which has been successful: working on my Master’s Project in college, working as campaign manager to build a campaign from the ground up, and now striving towards a daily goal of 1600 words per day in order to satisfy my November 2020 challenge of “NaNoWriMo”, attempting to write a novel (50,000 words) in one month. …

2020 was a transformative year, due to the COVID 19 pandemic and the cultural experiences which have reshaped society. For me personally 2020 was an incredibly transformative year where I rediscovered one of my passions and interests: Politics in New Mexico.

Campaigning and Politics in 2020 (in a nutshell)

In 2019 and 2020 I worked as part of a political campaign for US House of Representatives. In the pre-primary months, it was nobody except me and the candidate; I worked every day on building the campaign in some fashion. I joined due to my previous political experience and interest in making a change in New Mexico. The candidate whom I had invested hundreds of hours of my sweat, hopes, ambitions and childhood memories, decided to hand over the power and money to an “out of state” campaign consultant group after winning the June 2020 Primary.

I resigned from the campaign which I built from the ground up for a number of reasons, primarily because I was so disgusted that a person would hand over the power which I had acquired through toil and sweat so easily. I then carried out an online campaign to expose the truth about my dealings with the candidate. A number of ‘band wagon’ jumpers who joined after the primary, and sometimes only a couple of days before hand, began “attacking” me for being critical of the Republican Nominee. The irony is so heavy, that people were attacking me for exposing the truth about a candidate which I created. …

Only two days after the November 2020 General Election and the race for New Mexico Republican Leadership is heating up due to a number of perceived failings by Steve Pearce, Jim Townsend and Republican Leadership in New Mexico.

It’s time to clean house of the out of touch Republican Leadership in New Mexico

I previously announced that I will be seeking a leadership position within the Republican Party of New Mexico to much fan fare on Twitter. The race is heating up for NM GOP Chairman because on November 5, 2020 Eddy Aragon, owner of KIVA / Rock of Talk conservative talk show host announces that he will be running for NM GOP Chairman to replace chairman Steve Pearce.

Steve Pearce became NM GOP Chairman after an unsuccessful bid for New Mexico Governor in 2018 against Michelle Lujan Grisham, which also gave NM Legislature a Democrat Majority, as well as all five federal seats during the 2018 Midterm Election. In the 2020 General Election, Yvette Herrell saved the NM GOP from two consecutive ‘shut outs’ at the Federal Level, and there were a number of NM State GOP surprise winners by true conservative patriots including Stefani Lord, Crystal Diamond and Joshua Sanchez. …
